William Baker Choral Foundation Contributions
Support the 2010 Annual Gifts Campaign
The goal of the Choral Foundation’s 2010 Annual Gifts Campaign is $50,000- raised between September 1 and December 31. Though the Choral Foundation receives funds from concert and recording proceeds in addition to gifts and grants from organizations, the vast majority of our support comes from individual contributors just like you.
With your help we are doing great things!
Our successful 2010 campaign will…
Insure that the Choral Foundation remains one of America’s few debt-free arts organizations.
Insure that the Choral Foundation will continue to grow by adding new ensembles that involve more adults, youth and children in the enjoyment of great music. Two new ensembles were added in 2008, one existing group brought into the Foundation family in 2009, and three more new groups will begin with the new season of 2009/2010.
Insure that our performing ensembles have the needed artistic leadership and support staff required to serve our members, our audiences and our communities with music of timeless beauty and worth.
Provide support for planned performances of great works such as Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor, Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem, and Bach’s Mass in B minor and St. John Passion, in addition to great classics, folks songs and spirituals from around the world…all during the exciting 2009/2010 season.
Provide scholarship support for deserving men, women, and children who might otherwise have no access to quality music participation.
The Choral Foundation is amazing in that we are able to provide support for six performing organizations based in three states, involve over 500 registrants, sponsor a publishing house for up-and-coming composers and authors, produce exciting recordings, and provide broadcasts of great music on radio and television. It is even more amazing that we accomplish all this with a 2009 budget of only $185,000.
When you contribute to the Choral Foundation, you can also be assured that every penny of your gift is applied to its highest and best use. We are proud of our record of musical accomplishment, but we are equally proud of our heritage of fiscal responsibility and frugal stewardship of resources.
